What should the anti-wear of the pipeline be considered?
There are many pipelines used in the pneumatic conveying system. The principle is that the material is circulated in each pipeline under the thrust of the airflow and its own gravity. The back and forth collision between the material and the pipeline will cause impact and wear to the inner wall of the pipeline, and the pipeline will easily wear out and leak over time.
It is necessary to increase the wear resistance of the pipeline. Wear-resistant pipes with strong wear resistance should be selected, such as wear-resistant ceramic composite pipes ,it also called wear-resistant ceramic lined pipe elbow. The inner wall of the pipe is lined with alumina ceramics. Alumina ceramics have extremely high wear resistance and can effectively resist the wear and impact of materials in the pipe. Wear-resistant ceramic composite pipe is very suitable for use in pneumatic conveying systems.
Elbows in the gas delivery system are also prone to wear and tear. The impact and friction of materials on the elbow will cause the curved part of the elbow to be easily worn through. When the bend angle of the elbow is greater, it takes longer for the flow to pass through the elbow, and the pipe is more prone to wear and tear. Therefore, the radius of curvature of the elbow should be designed as small as possible, and the parts of the elbow that are prone to wear are lined with alumina ceramics with high wear resistance to increase its wear resistance. The use of wear-resistant ceramic elbows can obviously improve the service life of the pipe, which is more than ten times that of other steel pipes.
